Since 1981 Le Central French Restaurant has been serving "the taste of Provence" on the corner of 8th Avenue and Lincoln Street in downtown Denver. Conceived with the notion that a French restaurant doesn't have to be stuffy, snooty, or expensive, Le Central offers a plate full. Price for a lunch entrée ranges from $6.95 to $11.95.

Dinner entrées range from $12.95 to $21.95. Menus change daily in order to offer a wider variety of fresh, in season food; but you can always expect to find a selection of meat (chicken, pork, beef, lamb), fish (trout, snapper, bouillabaisse, paella, marlin) prepared in many ways (grilled, sautéed, roasted) and finished with some of the tastiest sauces, confits, coulis, or vinaigrettes this side of the French border. A vegetarian dish is always featured on every menu as well as entrée salads on every lunch menu. If you're a lover of clams or mussels try one of the selection from our now famous mussel / clam menu served with all the French fries you can eat. Or try rich onion soup, escargots, or pâtes from the appetizer menu.. The wine list is extensive but not expensive.
