Enjoyed my first visit, but not my second. I knew what I wanted and the first time I saw the server, I ordered my entree. I was still waiting 50 minutes later to receive it, while other diners around me that had ordered after me had already received their dinners. Bill was slightly off, too. I like how cozy and friendly the place can be, but I don't trust that I'm going to receive service worth paying for.

If you know what St. Louis pizza is all about then you will love this place. The staff is super up tight about their coupons and special offers though. If your from st. louis this is the closest thing to IMOs pizza, dont sleep

Great place for happy hour and always a friendly wash park crowd. Thursday night is a great deal with all you can eat wings, I would check this out every Thursday if you live in the area, The patio is a nice feature to during the summer.

I visited Denver for the first time over Labor Day weekend in order to see some friends and check out some jam band that nobody has heard about ( 3 outstanding shows in my opinion ) and we stumbled upon this little gem called Jelly's. Whether you are looking for breakfast or lunch, you will find excellent food and superb service. Coming from Boston, excellent food is par for the course but service isn't a strong suit so Jelly's blew me away. We checked out a few other eateries over the week but Jelly's was right on the end of our street and after a day or 2, we could not walk by without going on. Wait time might be a small issue, but there's a used record shop and mulitiple other shops next door and the hostess offered to come find us when our table was ready. Obviously, that would never happen in Boston. We tried almos everything on the menu and it was all very good but the standouts were the Benedicts, Biscuits&Gravy; and the Donut Bites. Get down to Jelly and check it out, you will not be dissapointed.... oh yea, I forgot about the bottomless Mamosa's during the week. I could go on and on. This has to be one of the best additions to Uptown!! The croque monsiuer is impossible to pass up and if you have room for dessert make sure to try the Snickers Bread Pudding. I would come here everyday if I could, it's just that good!!

Patsy's is delicious and reasonably priced. The pasta is homemade- they have 2 sizes, thick or thin noodles. we had a bottle of wine, and each ordered the chicken Parmesan- it was only $60 total! def coming back to this spot, good food and atmosphere!

Adorable. Good things: They have delicious pastries and great coffees. They also serve booze all day long. Their breakfast potatoes are really good, just sometimes not enough. A nice patio and mostly friendly wait staff is plenty when it's all about having a meal and some great conversation. They also have some water bowls for the doggies on the edge of the patio. Less good things: Unfortunately they do not have wireless and they DO NOT want you to have any sort of meetings or hangout time. They are very strict about this (having tried to meet a client there and they wanted him to go sit outside or leave because he showed up early and was "taking up a table") ...so that wasn't the nicest surprise and I am sure he will never go back there.

This really is a community tavern. I have come to know most of the employees and, although you're always going to have the occasional cranky server, the service is great and the staff is friendly and happy to be there. I know, also, that they take the time to choose people who will get along well and create a fun, community vibe. The atmosphere is wonderful, with new art monthly or bi-monthly and great seating, murals and super-cute tractor seat chairs in one area of the bar. Their shrimp tacos are TO DIE FOR and the chile rellenos are mind-blowing too (in a neighborhood full of awesome, traditional Mexican food, this place stands out among the crowds) They also have great drinks (think coin-style margaritas ) a million kinds of tequilas, and cheap beers on happy hour! Go there.

And I thought snarf's didn't have any competition in the sandwich game. Probably one of the best Cuban sandwiches I have ever tried and would recommend to anyone, especially in the highlands or platte river area, to get out and experience some deliciousness!

first off, its automatically a great pizza joint when you can order french fries AND a pizza for delivery! the pizza is REALLY good here too! I suggest going with a 14" for 3 people or less.

This place has delicious Pad Thai, Lemongrass Soup, Spring Rolls...I think of it as more of a lunch or dinner take-out spot, but the ambiance is actually pretty cute and their service is amazing. Even when waiting on a to-go order you'll notice they are anxiously looking out for your food while making certain you have a fresh glass of water while you wait. I always look forward to going back.

Really, I had no idea that I was walking into deliciousness for brunch at Jonesy's! The Lamb Sliders are something to order every time and the benedicts are always great. I would suggest this place to anyone in Uptown or anyone looking for a great brunch. Nice patio too!

I love this happy hour. 2$ beers, 2 for 1 MARTINIs and appetizers from 3-6 and 9-close. YES! I usually sit in the bar area at one of the big family booths or tall tables for happy hour. It is perfect for when you get off the mountain. The bar staff, Jason in particular, and owner, Jay (who also owns Vita in Denver), are welcoming and knowledgeable. Also, both make a perfect dirty martini. The spinach artichoke dip and mussels are my staple here. I suggest bringing a change of clothes if you're heading straight from the mountain. You'll be much more comfortable in street clothes. Also, martinis + altitude... you know.

Don't scoff, but this is my favorite BBQ in town. The flavors are great, I mix the extra spicy sauce with the regular. Their portions are large, sides are big enough to share, everything comes with a tasty bun. DISCLAIMER: Order ahead take-away. BBQ is meant to be enjoyed in comfortable settings at the pace of the enjoyer.

I LOVE Lala's happy hour. 1/2 price wine from 4-7 and 9-12 every day. They have amazing pizzas, I tried the pizza betabel, golden and red beets, goat cheese, YUM. They welcomed us in just before close and our sever, Tess, was a perfect complement to our group. Also, my roommate works nearby and often brings home an appetizer and I can't remember the name but I definitely remember how tasty it is. some kind of flat bread with what i think is a basil mascarpone dip. I could live in it. priced affordably, too.
